JLDC has been running after school clubs around the local area since 2016. We have athletes still with us today who started at one of our afterschool clubs who have recently competed at the World Championships in Orlando Florida 2022.
In our after school clubs we focus on Level 1 cheerleading skills that include tumbling (gymnastics), stunting, dancing, and lots of group activities. The aim is to keep the kids engaged, have fun and develop teambuilding and trust with their friends. Our coaches love the excitement of the school children who are always so excited going into each lesson and are also picking up new skills every week!
After school clubs are a fantastic way to learn about the sport of All Star Cheerleading and can decide if it is something they want to pursue as a hobby outside school. whether that be Competitive or Recreational. We have classes for all ages and abilities.
Currently, we are running after school clubs at Locks Heath Junior School, Crofton Hammond Junior School, Lee-On-The-Solent Junior and Harrison Primary School.
